As an Instructional Designer I work to design training events that genuinely engage the learners while still accomplishing learning objectives, and improving performance by teaching new concepts and skills. 

I like to work closely with others to create learning experiences tailored to organizational goals and individual learners - in a variety of organizational settings. A training program can comprise elearning courses alone or a wide array of methods including instructor-led options (in-person and/or virtual), microlearning, elearning, gamification, individual or group coaching, and on-the-job components. Or something in between. Starting with an assessment of the training needs of the organization and the trainees leads to inspired and effective learning.
